The Kelly research group has its home within the University of Washington's School of Marine and Environmental Affairs. Through collaborations with researchers in a variety of units in the College of the Environment at UW, NOAA, and elsewhere, we do quantitative and qualitative research at the boundaries of marine science, law, and policy.

Teaching:

SMEA 515 (Ocean and Coastal Law)

SMEA 591 (Marine Science and the Coastal Zone)

SMEA 550 (Coding in R for Natural and Social Sciences)

SMEA 550 (Marine Biodiversity: Science, Law, and Policy)

Our driving questions:

How do we generate information that's useful?

How do we use the information that we've generated?
